Join Tweed Shire Council’s Planning and Regulation Division and play a key role in supporting services that shape safe, sustainable communities. In this dynamic admin role, you’ll provide essential clerical and program support across Council divisions, helping keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

About the role:

  • Provide general administrative support across the unit, using systems such as the NSW ePlanning Portal, eProperty Portal, TechnologyOne Financials, and record management tools
  • Carry out a range of administrative and clerical tasks as directed by the Administration Supervisor
  • Maintain high attention to detail while managing competing priorities in a busy work environment
  • Contribute to quality client service delivery and support team members during peak workloads
  • Assist with minor research, projects, and the preparation of draft reports

We are seeking:

  • A qualified professional with a Certificate III in Business/Administration (or similar), or extensive experience in a comparable administrative role
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, typing, and data entry with strong attention to detail
  • Proven experience in a broad range of administrative tasks including records management, document handling, and customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • The ability to prioritise workloads, adapt to competing demands, and quickly learn new systems and technologies

Where it's located:

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
