About the Role

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in assessing development applications and reviewing drawings related to public domain assets and infrastructure to join our team. Working as part of a small, professional engineering team you will support the Senior Coordinator and the department in assisting and contributing to the strategy, planning and process of related developer contributed assets and infrastructure. You will also assess drawings prior the issuing of Construction Certificates and handle public enquires and complaints.

This is an outstanding opportunity for you to use your knowledge and experience of public domain developments while gaining exposure to other infrastructure engineering roles within the Infrastructure directorate.

 

About you:

  • Be a qualified Civil Engineer with a degree recognised by Engineers Australia
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to read and analyse design and technical plans, as well as specifications for public domain, civil and infrastructure works
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience negotiating with community groups and various infrastructure stakeholders
  • Experience in researching technical subjects and providing written reports to support decision-making
  • Current drivers' licence

 

Your commencing annual salary will range from $110,455.85 to $120,274.15 + Superannuation + Civil Liability Allowance dependent on your experience and qualifications.
