About the role
The Digital Experience Officer plays a pivotal role in the Library Programs team delivering programs with a strong focus on online engagement, digital literacy and creative experiences. In this role we are seeking a motivated individual with a passion for libraries and digital innovation, excellent customer service skills and the capability to coach colleagues in digital program delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing online and in-library programming for diverse audiences.
- Coordinating programs that promote digital literacy.
- Creating content that promotes library programs and services.
- Coordinating a vibrant Maker Space with a broad range of technology
- Building partnerships to deliver innovative programming.
- Provide frontline customer service at any library location or outreach activity.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Diploma of Library and Information Services or other related qualifications or experience.
- Advanced digital literacy and content creation skills.
- Strong visual presentation skills and marketing acumen.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage proactively with diverse library users.
- Experience in delivering library and/or digital programs.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence - Class C.
- This position requires a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers.
What we offer:
- A permanent full time, 35 hours per week on a 7-day roster including evening and weekend shifts.
- Commencing salary range from $70,725.20 to $75,054.20 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Plus 12% superannuation.
