About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Coordinator Development Insights who will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the Development Advisory Team. You will contribute to developing strategies and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused development advisory service that meets the evolving needs of the community.
This role is responsible for resolving day to day issues through monitoring team and departmental performance, and identifying insights and trends to inform continuous improvement utilising a data driven, evidence based approach. You will support the development and implementation of innovative planning strategies, policy reforms, and e-Planning solutions that enhance service delivery. A strong focus of the role involves applying critical thinking to data analyse to demonstrate the findings of data beyond the presentation of numbers.
You will provide advise to a variety of stakeholders on legislation, case law, Environmental Planning Instruments, Development Control Plans based on research and your in depth knowledge. The role also involves representing Council in various formal settings such as the Land and Environment Court, Planning Panels, and Design Review Panels.
About You
You are an inspiring and confident leader with a proven track record in managing teams, coordinating workloads, and delivering results within tight timeframes. You also have extensive experience and understanding of Development Applications, Strategic Planning and Policy Reforms, including the utilisation of data based evidence.
In addition, you will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or equivalent
- Extensive experience preparing high-quality reports for senior management regarding development issues
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Your commencing annual salary will range from $130,929.08 to $170,207.81 + Superannuation dependent on your experience and qualifications.
