About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join the team on a twelve (12) month maternity relief role, with the opportunity for an extension. You will help deliver Council’s Ryde Resilience Plan 2030 and Net Zero Emissions Pathway by developing and implementing sustainability and resilience initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and co-leading projects such as the SWAP Waste to Art program to strengthen community awareness and climate preparedness.
About You
As the ideal candidate, you are an independent self-starter with strong leadership skills, passionate about achieving impactful outcomes. You bring a high level of confidence in communication and collaboration, with an ability to educate, engage, and work with diverse audiences to promote and implement resilience and net zero emissions initiatives. Your skills in presenting complex topics clearly, coupled with your proactive and adaptable approach, make you an excellent fit for our team and our values.
In addition, you will also have:
- Proven experience in designing and delivering corporate and community resilience programs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders through both written and verbal communication.
- Confidence in presenting and collaborating to drive results and strengthen resilience networks across the city.
- Ability to prepare reports, grant submissions, and communications on various resilience, resource, or sustainability topics as required.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or weekday evenings as needed for project requirements.
- Current NSW Class C driver's license.
Your commencing annual salary will range from $84,308.22 to $92,086.67 + superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
