THE JOB
Council is seeking a project manager with strong organisational and interpersonal skills and the capability to effectively plan, schedule and deliver multi-disciplinary civil and community projects in accordance with Council’s Project Management Framework.
The successful applicant will facilitate engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are agreed, communicated and achieved as well as developing project management plans, tender and contract documentation, reports and consultation.
Ideally we are seeking a qualified and experienced project manager however, if you are an up and coming project manager who would like the opportunity to be mentored by a qualified and experienced construction manager and get experience on large scale projects within a structured and integrated project management environment we want to hear from you.

THE LOCATION
Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales which spans 8959km2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in a number of vibrant and unique towns, villages and rural properties. THE BENEFITS
· This is a temporary full time position for a period of 2 years working 70 / fortnight
· Annual salary will be $97,805.80 – $110,081.40 + 3.5% civil liability allowance and 12% superannuation based on your skills, qualifications and experience. Salary may be negotiable for a highly capable candidate.
