Join our team and play a key role in managing Council’s asset management systems for roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage, and bridges—assets with a combined replacement value of approximately $1.35 billion.
In this role you will work closely with engineers, consultants and contractors to collect, verify and enter infrastructure data into our corporate asset management systems, to ensure its integrity and usefulness. This will include field verification of new and donated assets, to ensure accurate asset records.
We’re looking for someone who communicates well, values safety, and actively contributes to continuous improvements in asset management processes and procedures. Additionally, you’ll provide training and support to road maintenance staff to enhance the efficiency of Council’s asset management systems and field mobility. We are seeking:
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices.
- Experience with asset management systems.
- Competence in report writing and data retrieval.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for process improvement in asset management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
