Join a dedicated team delivering essential services that support day-to-day Council operations. As a Fleet Plant Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our plant, equipment and vehicle fleet are safe, reliable, and ready for action.
Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency, safety and effectiveness of services delivered to the community.

We are seeking:
- Trade-qualified mechanic with at least four years of hands-on workshop experience, including your apprenticeship
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a small, customer-focused team
- Solid understanding of fleet operations, vehicle systems and electronic management systems
- Strong ability to interpret manuals, follow job instructions and maintain accurate records
- Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to workplace procedures
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) driver licence

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
