Council is seeking a genuine and committed applicant to join our workshop in Blackall.
Role Overview: The successful applicant will be responsible for a wide range of servicing, repairs and
maintenance on heavy plant and machinery, along with providing breakdown support out in the field.

Your Requirements:
- Construction Induction (White Card).
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
- C class drivers’ licence.
- HR and Forklift licences (highly regarded).
- Be fit and healthy with the ability to lift heavy mechanical equipment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work unsupervised.
- Commitment to safe work practices and council’s core values.
