Lachlan Shire Council are looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer/Service NSW Officer for our Condobolin Office.
This full-time position is responsible for providing a professional level of customer service at all times to Council's external & internal customers, this involves front line customer service, telephone duties, cashiering, Service NSW duties and related tasks.
To be successful you must obtain:
- The ability to undertake Service NSW Training off site as required (at Council's expense)
- Working with Children Check
- Experience in cash handling and balancing
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
- The ability to work well in a team
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Basic Microsoft software skills and experience
- Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence
- Justice of the Peace (or have the ability to acquire within 6 months)
Benefits for you:
- The salary range is $2,863 to $3,078 per fortnight
- Starting salary to be determined upon the qualifications and experience of successful applicant.
- The position is Grade 8 within Council's Salary Structure
- Working 76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off (9 Day fortnight)
