With our population set to double over the next 30 years, we’re working hand-in-hand with the NSW Government to tackle the housing crisis and deliver smart, sustainable growth. Our strategy is clear: strike the right balance between housing, jobs, and infrastructure.

To support this transformation, we are recruiting high‑calibre Ranger professionals. As a Ranger, you will work across a broad range of compliance and education activities, contributing to the safety, amenity and sustainability of the community.

The role includes enforcement and community education across matters such as illegal dumping and littering, footpath and road obstructions, unattended vehicles and items, and heavy and light vehicle enforcement. You will also manage companion animal matters, including dog attacks, impounding animals, and investigating roaming or barking dogs, alongside other regulatory and compliance responsibilities.

Rangers are required on a rostered basis and, from time to time, provide support to Council during festivals, community events and public safety operations.

To be one of our compliance rangers, you will need:

  • Experience as a Compliance Ranger or Equivalent
  • Completion of Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  • Current NSW Drivers licence
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Experience and/or confidence in safely handing and managing dogs, including safe capture and transport
  • Excellent computer skills

If you’re selected for interview, we’ll be in touch to take you to the next stage. If you’re looking for a career that offers purpose, challenge, and growth—we want to hear from you!

Join a high-performing team that’s shaping the future of our community!
