As a Building Assets Administration Officer, you’ll play a key role in keeping Council’s buildings and infrastructure running smoothly supporting everything from day-to-day operations through to major capital projects that shape our region.

You’ll be part of exciting and high-profile projects, including the Heritage Plaza and the Wiradjuri Cultural Tourism Centre projects that celebrate our region’s identity and create lasting spaces for our community.

Working across a fast-paced and varied environment, you’ll keep projects on track, maintain accurate information, and help bring community infrastructure to life. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Supporting major capital works and day-to-day building projects to keep them organised, progressing and on track.

  • Coordinating documentation, records and systems to ensure accurate, reliable project and operational information.

  • Liaising with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to keep communication clear and projects moving forward.

  • Managing administrative processes including procurement, purchase orders, invoicing and contractor documentation.

  • Maintaining databases, reporting and online platforms to support business operations and decision-making.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III or higher in Office Administration or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration, coordination or project support roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiencies in using online systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.

We would also love you to have:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Business, Finance, Administration or related discipline.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $67,787 to $78,778.
