Team Leader Information Management

Shellharbour City Council is seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader to take on the role of Team Leader Information Management.

In this role, you will lead a specialist team responsible for information governance, records management and access to information — while driving the design and delivery of efficient, modern administrative processes. You will champion the use of technology to streamline workflows, embed contemporary practices, and support transparency, accountability and informed decision-making across Council.

Key responsibilities include governance and effective use of information management systems, providing expert advice to stakeholders, preparing and determining formal decisions under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA), and leading continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives.

This position suits a forward-thinking leader who combines strong information management expertise with a genuine passion for technology, modern processes and empowering teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services for the Shellharbour community.

  • Permanent full time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time
  • Commencing salary range from $84,649 - $93,459 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
