We are looking for our next passionate Property Services Manager to deliver value add services and projects both internally and to the community.

This pivotal specialist role leads the Land & Property Services team in providing strategic property management services and delivering superior outcomes on a wide variety of property projects and transactions.

About the role

Leading a team of four, primary duties will include:

  • Provide strategic and operational property advice to key stakeholders
  • Manage productive stakeholder relationships and delivery of property purchases, sales, new leases, road closures and disposals
  • Provision of professional property expertise and input into the development of a variety of Council plans, reviews, and programs across all Divisions of Council
  • Select, engage, and manage the performance of external professionals, consultants and contractors including lawyers, valuers, and others, as required
  • Lead and manage the Land & Property Services team to deliver core services and operational objectives

Position requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a relevant property related discipline, particularly within local government or public sector
  • Demonstrated experience in management of property purchases, compulsory land acquisitions, sales, leases, development and road closures
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and coaching a team to deliver on property services results
