Salary
$66,303 to $74,250 per annum (based on 76 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight. Shift loading allowances also apply for regular weekend work. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience.

About the role
The Parks Ranger role provides an after hours customer response service while carrying out the daily lock up of various parks and other Council assets. The role carries out monitoring of parks and reserves to identify and assess risks to the public or environment. Responding to requests regarding possible breaches of legislation, and/or Council codes and policies.
Position requirements
- Senior First Aid certificate
- Traffic Control (Blue/Grey Card, Yellow Card)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Chainsaw Cross Cut Certification
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with a cross section of the community in a compliance role
About you
You have experience within a similar regulatory position and are skilled at conflict resolution, negotiation and working with diverse stakeholders. You provide excellent customer service, applying sound judgement to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
