Nestled in nature, Focused on Progress: A career building opportunity in a thriving, engaged community

Hinchinbrook Shire may seem quiet at first glance — but there’s far more happening here than you’d expect.

Based in Ingham Queensland, life in the Shire means swapping long commutes and crowded venues for front-row seats, friendly faces and year-round live entertainment and sporting events. Add in the relaxed North Queensland lifestyle, easy access to the coast and rainforests, and the convenience of being within easy reach of Townsville, and you’ll find a place where work, lifestyle and recreation sit side by side. If you’re looking for a community where you can truly belong—without giving up culture, connection or a good night out—living in the Shire might just surprise you.
