We are seeking to fill two (2) full-time permanent Plant Operator Level 1 positions. This role involves operating plant equipment (over 30 hp) for maintenance and construction tasks across Council’s parks & reserves. The position also includes general gardening duties, scheduled mowing, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring high work standards and quality customer service. Strong communication with supervisors and flexibility to perform other duties as directed are essential.

We are seeking:
- Can confidently operate the required plant and machinery.
- Understands workplace safety and basic maintenance systems.
- Communicates clearly in both speaking and writing.
- Keeps accurate records and stays organised.
- Works well alone and as part of a team, with a current drivers licence.

These two positions are based in Tweed Heads and Tweed Coast, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
