About the Role

This role will work closely with the team, the community and will have a problem solving and solution focus using the regulatory framework.  In this role you will be responsible for the management of day to day operations of the team and to provide a high quality of customer and parking enforcement service.


About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Parking Officer
  • Extensive experience in Local Government Regulation or related area
  • Demonstrated high level of public and employee relations and conflict management skills
  • Well-developed oral and written and computer skills
  • SEINS qualified
  • Class C drivers licence

Knowledge in the areas of Regulatory Local Government Legislation, On-Street Parking Control, Infringement Processing Systems, Roads and Traffic Legislation and is experienced in preparing briefs and presenting evidence in Court.

Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills to handle conflict management and mediation of issues with various members of the public and internal and external customers.

Ability to read and interpret current relevant acts, regulations, policies and procedures.

Knowledge and understanding with a commitment to implement EEO, Ethical Practice and WH& S

Some weekend and after-hours work may be required.

 Your commencing annual salary will range from $91,245.60 - $118,619.28 + Superannuation, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
