Join our Asphalt Crew & build the roads that keep our city moving!
We’re looking for hands-on crew member to join our Asphalt Team and help build and maintain the city’s road network. You’ll work outdoors on tasks such as laying and repairing asphalt surfaces, patching potholes and ensuring our streets are safe and smooth for the community. 
The role involves operating tools and machinery, following strict safety procedures and working as part of a close-knit crew to keep the city moving. 
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong background in civil works and are eager to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in civil works.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement technical plans and work schedules.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for asset management.
- A Medium Rigid (MR) truck license would be desirable
Additionally, candidates should hold a General Induction for Construction Work Certificate (White Card) and a current NSW Driver's License (Class C). Traffic control training will be necessary, and candidates must be physically capable of performing the required tasks.
What we offer
- A permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, with the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight
- Commencing salary range from $58,042 - $61,595 per annum (based on qualifications and experience)
- An Adverse Working Conditions Allowance (Level 1) of $19.49 per week in accordance with the applicable award
- Plus 12% superannuation
