In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pool fencing inspections to ensure they comply with relevant legislation. You will also be tasked with issuing Swimming Pool Compliance Certificates, Notices and Orders. This mobile role involves going to homeowners' premises for inspections, making effective communication essential. Additionally, you should prioritise safety, be comfortable working independently, and meet performance targets with minimal supervision.

- Supports the implementation of our Swimming Pool Fencing Compliance Strategy
- Promotes, educates and assesses pools to ensure compliance, and educate the community on pool safety
- Interprets legislation and problem solves.

We are seeking:
- Demonstrated ability to complete the Swimming Pool Assessments, Compliance and Safety Awareness Course, or equivalent within 3 months of appointment dependent on course availability.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, and the capacity to apply, legislation, policy and procedures.
- Desirable: be registered as a Swimming Pool Inspector with the NSW Department of Fair Trading.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
