Liverpool Plains Shire Council is on the cusp of an exciting new era, driven by a freshly appointed General Manager with a truly energetic, vibrant vision for the community, supported by a cohesive future-focused governing body. The council is now seeking a capable and committed professional to join their refreshed Infrastructure and Utilities management team as Manager Operations.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to delivering amazing outcomes for the Liverpool Plains where you will be responsible for leading and managing Council’s Operations Service Unit and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the functional areas of Roads and Transport, Parks and Gardens, Fleet and Plant, Depot and Stores and Cemetries.

You will plan, manage and deliver selected capital works programs and routine operational maintenance of roads, bridges, drainage and footpaths, plant and fleet, stores, and Quirindi Aerodrome and quarries.

Working closely with the Director Infrastructure and Utilities, who we expect will bring a practical, forward-thinking approach to leadership, you will contribute to a broader organisational refresh that prioritises strong governance, responsive service delivery and tangible community outcomes.
