About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Site Compliance Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic management across the City of Ryde's public road network during construction periods.

In this role, you'll conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with traffic regulations, while working closely with developers and key stakeholders to minimise construction-related disruptions.

You'll also provide expert advice on traffic management plans, enforce road safety standards and contribute to future transport planning initiatives across the City of Ryde.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in traffic & road management (typically related to construction activities), compliance or similar
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Prepare a Work Zone Card (Traffic Management Plan Certificate)
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads, Transport for NSW's Technical Standards, and relevant legislation
  • Expertise in resolving traffic issues and reviewing technical traffic documents
  • Ability to research and report on traffic-related topics with minimal supervision.
Your commencing salary will be in the range from $112,003.84 to $123,919.15 p.a + 11.5% superannuation depending on your relevant skills and experience. Civil Liability Allowance at 3.5% is also applicable for qualified Civil Engineers.
