The Blaxland Waste Facility Team Leader is responsible for the coordination of day-to-day operational tasks. Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Weighbridge operations
· Customer waste drop-off areas
· Waste stockpile management
· Environmental monitoring
· Safe vehicle movements throughout the facility
· Landfilling operations
· involvement in all operational planning at the site.
The successful candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Demonstrate commitment to following set policies and processes with a keen focus on continuous improvement of Councils safe work culture.
The successful candidate will have the following:
· Construction Induction Card
· Class HR License
· Machine Tickets or willingness to obtain in the following:
- Wheeled Loader
- Tracked Loader
- Backhoe Loader
- Excavator
- Forklift
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, complete standard forms, initiative to resolve problems and effectively lead a team.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $74,200 gross per annum
+ 11.5% superannuation
+ Adverse working conditions allowance $2590.00 gross per annum
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible)
+ annual award increase
