Lead the delivery of essential infrastructure for a thriving regional community
Glen Innes Severn Council is looking for a Director Infrastructure Services to lead and manage its infrastructure portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across roads, water, wastewater, asset management, and other essential services that support our vibrant community.
Located in the picturesque New England region of New South Wales, Glen Innes is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and strong sense of community. Our council serves approximately 8,850 residents across Glen Innes and surrounding villages, managing a wide range of infrastructure and public services.

As the Director, you will lead a team of 5 direct reports and approximately 62 FTE staff members across the directorate and be responsible for overseeing a combined operational and capital expenditure budget of approximately $43M.
You will set long-term objectives for the planning, delivery, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, while demonstrating strong leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse team towards service excellence.
You will have a degree level qualification in civil engineering or a related field, ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, and extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary areas within a complex organisational environment.
A Total Remuneration Package up to $240,000 will be negotiated with the successful candidate based on skills, abilities and experience.
