City of Parramatta invites applications for the position of Executive Director, Corporate and Property Services.
This key leadership role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of high-quality services with integrity, foster community engagement, and champion continuous improvement across a diverse organisation.
As the Executive Director, Corporate and Property Services, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and take charge of managing key areas such as financial planning, corporate governance, property strategy, legal services, ICT, risk management, audit, and security. In this leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, provide strategic guidance, and help shape decisions that align with the City of Parramatta’s long-term vision. You will drive the execution of the City of Parramatta’s strategic priorities, oversee financial performance, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team, leading with professionalism, integrity, and honesty.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the public sector, with a strong background in senior leadership roles. Proficient knowledge of corporate governance, financial management and budgeting processes within the landscape of local government is essential. You should have demonstrated expertise in leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to navigate complex issues and drive change. Experience in managing large-scale projects, diverse assets, and significant budgets will be necessary for this position.
