Shoalhaven City Council is seeking an experienced and innovative leader in this unique opportunity to guide a broad portfolio with a strong focus on corporate services, financial sustainability and strategic outcomes. As the Director City Performance you will lead a highly motivated and talented staff group responsible for corporate finance, long-term financial planning, IT and smart cities innovation, procurement, and customer service strategy. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating closely with Councillors, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the delivery of the Council’s Community Strategic Plan and driving excellence in service to the community.
This role is ideal for a strategic and innovative leader with a strong background in corporate services or financial management. You’ll bring a collaborative leadership style, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams. Experience in local government or similarly complex organisations would suit, and whilst financial qualifications are not a must, strong financial acumen at this level is definitely required.
The Total Remuneration Package is $300,000, comprised of salary, the Superannuation Guarantee and a $12,500 vehicle component.
