Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for an exciting opportunity? Join us as our new Early Childhood Teacher at Rainbow Cottage, where you’ll play a vital role in nurturing the development and well-being of preschool children (ages 3 ½ - 5). In this full-time position, you'll create engaging and enriching learning experiences, plan educational activities, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support the children’s growth. You'll work with a great team to:

  • Nurture children’s learning and well-being in accordance with current theories and industry practice
  • Assist in any other matters as requested by the Rainbow Cottage Coordinator
  • Design, develop and implement a curriculum tailored to individual children's interests and needs
  • Ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning outcomes through ongoing self-assessment and reflection on current processes, as well as reviewing relevant theory and research

 

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Education or Teaching in Early Childhood
  • Demonstrated ability/experience to work within a team environment to achieve outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with both adults and children
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework

We would also love you to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the early childhood sector
  • Proven experience as a team leader
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
  • Experience programming for individual children and groups of children

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $78,184 to $90,862.
