Find purpose and impact
The Macquarie Regional Library is a joint library service across the local government areas of Dubbo Regional Council, Narromine Shire Council and Warrumbungle Shire Council, supporting community-focused needs and outcomes in regional libraries.
As the Dubbo Libraries Coordinator, you'll have influence on this growing regional centre by working closely with the Libraries Regional Team to successfully implement plans, projects, policies and programs for the Dubbo and Wellington Libraries. This exciting opportunity allows you to shape the outcome of the Dubbo Libraries performance through your commitment to quality service delivery and the delivery of plans and objectives.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Providing input into the regional library's strategic, operational and policy plans and documents
- Overseeing of day-to-day Dubbo Libraries operation, assets and facilities
- Undertaking planning activities that provide excellence in library and information service customer experiences
- Developing branch library plans for the broader community, targeted groups, and inclusive promotional strategies
- Coordinating branch events, marketing, budget, training and grant applications
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Library and Information Science with eligibility for professional Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) membership
- Significant experience in developing and delivering high-quality library & information services
- Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a team to achieve organisational outcomes and goals
- Significant experience in monitoring and evaluating library collections and service delivery
- Ability to lead initiatives that add value and enhance services and policies
We would also love you to have:
- Demonstrated experience in Library Management Systems and excellent computer and digital literacy skills

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $93,725 to $108,924.
