SALARY: 1,475.10 - 1,690.41 PW + Super

Working in a fast-paced and dynamic team as our Sport and Facilities Bookings Officer, you will manage Council's community and sporting facilities bookings while delivering a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Your attention to detail, commitment to innovation, previous experience with booking systems, the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines, and ability to communicate with various stakeholders will ensure your success in this role.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience with Electronic Booking Software, Excel and Word
  • Extensive experience in general office procedures and good organisational skills
  • Previous experience working with confidential records and information.
  • Proven ability to recognise needs and implement improvements to systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work independently

Desirable:

  • Flexibility towards working hours
  • Ability to develop and use PowerPoint and Excel power point programs

To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
