Rangers to join its Parking and Rangers team in a casual capacity.

Your new
role
Working alongside the Towns Information and Parking officers,
the primary responsibility of the Ranger role is to enforce
Council’s Local Laws and various legislative requirements
relating to animals, litter and bushfire control.
What you’ll need to
succeed
- Completion of or progression towards a Certificate IV in
Local Government Regulatory Services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making and
problem-solving skills.
- Dog and cat management experience including dog attack
investigation, impoundments and issuing infringements.
- Enforcement of Local Laws including breach investigation,
prosecution, and court appearances.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work within a
- Capacity to interpret and apply legislation and Values
driven with a team and customer focus.
- Intermediate technology and computer literacy
- Current ‘C’ class driver’s license.
- Current National Police Certificate.
The benefits of working for us
Hourly rate of $36.45 - $40.68 (dependent on experience) plus
25% casual loading and superannuation.
