Clean Seas is recognised for innovation in Yellowtail Kingfish farming and has become the largest producer of aquaculture Yellowtail Kingfish (YTK, Seriola lalandi) outside of Japan.  The company’s expanding operational footprint includes our world-class Hatchery Facility in Arno Bay, Farm sites, Fish Health and R&D in Port Lincoln, and our Seafood Processing Facility in Adelaide where our group support functions are also located. Our growing Sales and Marketing teams are located across Australia, Europe and the USA.

Position Overview:

We are seeking confident and motivated Aquaculture Farm Attendants to join our dedicated Feed Teams at our Port Lincoln Farming Operations.  

Responsibilities include assisting with fish feeding operations as well as general deckhand and maintenance duties. 

The positions require a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work safely on the water in changeable weather conditions. Training and development will be given as you become a valued member of our marine operations Teams. 

You will need to show initiative, have excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. 

The role will suit applicants who have experience in a similar environment and a keen interest in Fish Health and Feeding. 

Coxswain Certificate will be considered an advantage.

To be eligible to apply, all candidates must have unrestricted work rights within Australia. 

Key Responsibilities and requirements:

  • A commitment to working safely in a marine farming environment
  • Fish husbandry/knowledge and Feed Team experience preferred
  • Coxswain Certification an advantage
  • General Deckhand and Farmhand responsibilities
  • Net inspections and repairs
  • A commitment to safety at all times
  • Adhere strictly to Clean Seas’ policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work when required 
  • Unrestricted work rights within Australia essential

Positions are casual (full time hours) with an opportunity to become permanent.
