Salary Range: $73,944 - $86,134 + super (pro-rata)

pay rises are scheduled for July 2025, and 2026

What You Will Be Working On

In this role, you will work closely with families, caregivers, and local stakeholders to support the development of children aged 0-4 years, with a focus on creating culturally safe and inclusive experiences. Your work will include:

  • Helping families access resources and services that prepare their children for school.
  • Building strong, respectful relationships with Aboriginal families, guided by cultural understanding and trust.
  • Partnering with schools, community organisations, and other services to promote belonging and participation in early years programs.
  • Planning and delivering community events that reflect local culture and values, gathering feedback to improve future initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a community-minded, culturally aware individual who is passionate about supporting families and young children. This position is designated under Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
